In my earlier post (read here) I wrote about VSKP Visakhapatnam WAP4 no 22943 coming in to the Shalimar Railway Station to haul the 22861 Rajya Rani Express (watch the video here). Now later during the day it was spotted taking out the 22861 Rajya Rani Express out of Shalimar. I spotted the train at PDPK - Padmapukur Station where I was taking rest. It was really a very hot day so I had to stop several times.
Padmapukur, as I often get comments, is truly like an exercising hub; so is Shalimar. Lots of people come here to walk and do exercise in the morning. In fact I am also a regular morning walker to Shalimar since last two-three years. Apart of common people, I also see many railway staff also coming to these stations for walks and exercising as well. It is a good thing to see many people, especially aged people, taking care of their health. There is a very aged gentleman who comes to Shalimar for exercising every morning. He must be in his late 80's and in last two year I have not seen him miss a day. You can watch VSKP WAP4 leaving Shalimar & PDPK with the 22861 Rajya Rani Express at the link below:
