Wait For Signal At PDPK - SRC WAP4 Called In To Shalimar

This is continuation to the train spotting series of October 6th. After Patna Duronto and Visakhapatnam WAP4 for the Rajya Rani Express (click these links to read the previous blog posts), a gorgeous red WAP4 loco, no. 22500 came in through PDPK-Padmapukur. It was asked to wait for a while as shunting work was going on ahead on the tracks towards Shalimar.

What I really liked was how the beautiful read locomotive was shining in the bright sun. If you watch the video do note how the loco looked when it came out in the sun through the platform sheds of PDPK. Also it looked amazing when it came through and crossed me on its way to Shalimar Railway Station.

This loco later on hauled the 12885 Aranyak Express. I am yet to upload the video and I shall post about it separately, which I shall link here as well. This concerned departure of the Aranyak Express was also nicely captured by me with the new camera. The video is scheduled to publish on my YouTube on October 16th.
